Four LIQUI-MOLY Handball-Bundesliga (HBL) teams were studied over three seasons to determine how physical match demands varied based on season, team, match outcome, player position, and halftime.
A Kinexon fixed local positioning system, in place, collected both 2D positional and 3D inertial measurement unit data, at 20 and 100Hz, respectively.
